Eboy to Represent PH at the International Visitor Leadership Program
As a Junior Teacher at the University of Santo Tomas Senior High School Department, Efraim ‘Eboy’ Fernandez was invited to represent the Philippines at the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in Washington D.C on September 17-October 5, 2018.
Eboy who also manages to be a social media influencer at the same time, shared the good news with excitement via his official Facebook account.
The said program will focus on “Promoting Media Literacy through Education” wherein the people of US and representatives from various countries will try to foster understanding by exchanging ideas.
It aims to seek for long-term outcomes by providing education officials the tools and methods needed to incorporate media literacy and digital citizenship curriculum into their respective education system.
He will have the opportunity to visit government offices, educational institutions, and agencies to learn how they all promote and improve the media literacy instruction.
His visit and participation to the program is all-expense paid by the US Government.
